Job description

Our client, a well-established company in the footwear industry, is hiring a Wholesale Sales Representative to take over an existing book of business and manage relationships with retail partners across the Caribbean. This position offers a base salary between $50,000 and $60,000, with On-Target Earnings (OTE) ranging from $100,000 to $120,000. This is a relationship-focused role where you’ll be working with active customers from day one. The goal is to maintain and grow these accounts, increase order volume, and ensure a smooth process from order to delivery, with the opportunity to expand the territory and develop new business over time.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of wholesale accounts (retail store owners purchasing in volume)

  • Build strong relationships and drive repeat business

  • Present product lines and secure orders

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate fulfillment

  • Handle order entry, follow-ups, and issue resolution

  • Travel periodically to the Caribbean (Jamaica as a core market)

Job requirements

  • 3–8+ years of wholesale sales experience, preferred in the footwear or apparel industry

  • Able to work on-site 5 days per week

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills

  • Organized and able to manage a large set of accounts

  • Comfortable with Excel and basic systems

  • Willingness to travel internationally

  • Experience in selling to the Caribbean market

  • Spanish is a plus.
