Job description

Our client is looking for a Sales Area Manager to drive business growth across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean, with a focus on CO2, biogas, industrial compressors, and PET packaging applications.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will develop new business opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and manage the full sales cycle. This is an opportunity for a technically minded sales professional with strong industry knowledge and an established network to help expand the company's market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive territory growth: Develop and execute sales plans across CO2, biogas, industrial compressors, and PET packaging applications.

  • Win new business: Identify prospective clients and projects, engage decision-makers, and lead opportunities from initial conversations through negotiation and closing.

  • Build lasting partnerships: Develop relationships with end users, engineering firms, equipment manufacturers, distributors, and key industry partners.

  • Grow existing accounts: Strengthen customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with engineering and service teams to deliver effective solutions.

  • Shape market strategy: Track industry trends and competitor activity, prepare sales forecasts, achieve individual performance targets, and represent the company at industry events.

Job requirements

  • Proven success in B2B technical sales and account management, preferably within industrial compressors, CO2, biogas, natural gas, or PET packaging equipment.

  • Strong knowledge of the North American market, ideally with an established network of industry contacts and customer relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within industrial equipment or technical applications.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, supported by strong technical understanding.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering strongly preferred; extensive relevant industry experience may be considered in its place.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed and legal authorization to work in the United States.
