Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to join our client's team and enhance their organizational culture and operational efficiency in their Queens location. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Staffing: Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent to meet organizational needs.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive workplace culture and effectively resolving conflicts.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and implement development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Compensation and Benefits Management: Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Policy Development and Compliance: Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance management systems to assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Employee Health and Wellness: Promote employee well-being through health and wellness programs, resources, and initiatives.
  • Offboarding and Exit Interviews: Manage the offboarding process, conducting exit interviews to gather feedback for organizational improvement.

Job requirements

  • Prior experience working for a Private Money Lender or in a similar field is preferred.
  • Experience in a small business setting that contributed to scaling up the firm is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR experience with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and training.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
