Job description
We’re seeking a Director of Sales for our client, a successful multi-generational business, to lead and expand their wholesale channel—someone who thrives on relationship management, understands consultative sales, and can drive both strategic growth and team performance.
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 + commission
What You’ll Do:
Oversee and grow thousands of existing reseller accounts while identifying hundreds more across different verticals.
Develop deep relationships with customers, ensuring you’re aligned with their plans and future needs.
Manage the team responsible for account management, while also personally handling key relationships.
Fly out to meet customers—not as an outside salesperson, but as a relationship builder ensuring strong, long-term partnerships.
Understand the wholesale sales process, selling to resellers, big-box retailers, or key industry verticals.
Balance consultative selling with guiding the team on transactional sales strategies.
Job requirements
Wholesale sales experience, specifically selling to resellers.
Background in managing a high volume of accounts and driving new business in targeted verticals.
Proven ability to lead and develop a sales team while also managing key accounts directly.
Strong relationship-building skills with a consultative sales approach.
Ability to anticipate customer needs and align sales efforts accordingly.
Skilled in both strategic planning and transactional sales management.
Willingness to travel as needed to maintain and expand customer relationships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
