Our client, a leading Photo Studio, is seeking a Client Relations Lead to head up their Photo Equipment Location Rental business. The ideal candidate should be able to organically drive business growth and build strong relationships within the photography and production industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-connected Photography industry professional with a passion for high-end photo equipment rentals, client service, and business development.

Position Overview
As the Client Relations Lead, Photo Equipment Location Rentals, you will:
Cultivate and Expand Client Relationships – Build and maintain strong connections with photographers, producers, and creative teams to drive repeat business.
Drive New Business Development – Identify opportunities, generate leads, and develop strategies to grow the rental business.
Oversee High-End Client Service – Act as the primary point of contact for elite clientele, ensuring seamless equipment rental experiences.
Manage Vendor & Industry Partnerships – Leverage relationships with studios, vendors, and production houses to optimize inventory and service offerings.
Support Rental Operations – Collaborate with the equipment team to ensure inventory is well-maintained, available, and meets industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Client & Business Development
Build, nurture, and expand relationships with photographers, producers, and creative teams.
Actively prospect and engage new clients to increase rentals and revenue.
Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings.
Identify new market trends and opportunities to stay ahead of industry needs.
Develop and execute sales and client retention strategies.
Client Service & Relationship Management
Act as the go-to resource for clients, ensuring a white-glove rental experience.
Provide technical guidance on photography and lighting equipment to meet client needs.
Handle rental inquiries, quotes, and service requests with efficiency and professionalism.
Troubleshoot client issues and provide real-time solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
Industry Partnerships & Vendor Relations
Maintain and strengthen partnerships with top studios, rental houses, and production vendors.
Negotiate and manage agreements with vendors to ensure access to top-tier equipment.
Stay updated on new technology, gear trends, and competitive offerings in the industry.
Operational Support
Work closely with the equipment rental team to ensure seamless execution of rentals.
Assist in tracking inventory, scheduling rentals, and maintaining equipment quality.
Provide feedback on equipment needs and rental trends to optimize inventory investments.

Job requirements
5+ years of experience in client relations, sales, or business development within the photography/production industry.
Existing relationships with photographers, producers, and studios.
Strong knowledge of photography and lighting equipment.
Proven track record in business development and revenue growth.
Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles, 5 days per week.
