We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper for a leading New York State law firm with offices across the tri-state area. Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle AR/AP, including credit card reconciliation and vendor payments.
Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, journal entries, and account adjustments related to loans, taxes, 401(k) deductions, and bank fees.
Oversee the monthly accounting close process and generate cash flow projections to support financial planning.
Track and file quarterly sales tax payments; prepare subcontractor 1099s and ensure compliance with year-end IRS requirements.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including business licenses, gross receipts, and supporting documentation for audits.

Job Requirements
2+ years of bookkeeping or relevant accounting experience
Proficient with Quickbooks and general accounting databases
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with account analysis, reconciliation, and general ledger processes
