Job description
We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, experienced Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial operations for our client, a real estate construction company based in NYC. This role is ideal for a bookkeeping professional with experience in real estate who takes pride in maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounts receivable and payable, including vendor invoicing, expense tracking, and credit card reconciliations
Record and maintain day-to-day ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and proper coding of all financial transactions
Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, journal entries, and account adjustments related to expenses, payroll, and taxes
Support the monthly accounting close process and assist with cash flow tracking and financial reporting
Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including supporting documentation for audits and regulatory purposes
Job requirements
Job Requirements
8+ years of bookkeeping or relevant accounting experience, preferably with a focus on real estate financing
Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop) and general accounting software
Strong understanding of general ledger processes, account analysis, and reconciliations
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills for working with vendors, clients, and internal teams
Highly preferred to have prior experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role for a Real Estate company
